1. Data Minimization

We believe in "Privacy by Design." Cozy Counter does not require an account, a login, or any personal information (such as your name or email) to function.

2. Local Storage

All project data, including titles, row counts, and timing history, is stored locally on your device using an encrypted Room Database. We do not host any central servers that store your knitting or crochet history.

3. Device Synchronization

To provide a seamless experience, the App uses the Google Play Services Wearable API to sync data between your Phone and paired Wear OS watch. This synchronization is end-to-end encrypted by Google.

4. Payments & Billing

Cozy Counter offers a "Premium" upgrade via Google Play Billing.

• We collect your purchase status to unlock features.
• We do not see or store your credit card details, bank information, or physical address.
• All transactions are processed securely by Google.

5. Permissions

The App requests minimal permissions necessary for operation:

• Vibration: For haptic feedback during counting.
• Foreground Service: To maintain timer accuracy and show ongoing notifications on your watch.

6. Data Deletion

Since all data is local, you can delete your data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's cache in your device settings.
